After volunteering on a native American reservation where dragonflys are considered good luck, I have been enchanted with them and have had one-on-one encounters on numerous occasions. One occasion was a few years after my volunteering when I was moving from the East to NW, and a dragon fly flew into the car in which I was sitting (wearing dragonfly earrings) and made its way to me, landing an inch from me near the door handle as if to tell me it wanted out. I let it out & it wasn’t the least afraid of me. The next day I left for the NW.
I have always been interested in spirituality and read quite a lot of books on it. Recently I am having constant encounters with dragonflies since a few weeks. The first time was in the afternoon, at about 3 pm when I opened my front door. What I saw could be described as nothing less than magical. It was raining and the sun was there too! I saw a huge swarm of dragonflies around the area. Most of them were bronze in color and their wings were sparkling in the sunlight! It is hard to describe in words, but its one of the best moments I’ve ever had. Some of them flew around me like they were greeting me. I was so mesmerized by the beauty that I stepped out and stood there in the rain admiring the show for about half an hour. The dragonflies were still there the next day but it was cloudy.
The next experience I had was with a little green dragonfly coming into my room through the window. I tried to take it outside because I didn’t want it to die, but I didn’t go. It stayed in my room the whole night and the next morning when I opened the window it flew away.
Since the last few days whenever I am going out in my backyard or on the rooftop, a dragonfly is coming out of nowhere and siting infornt of me on a leaf or the floor or something.
Last night a huge one came into my house again, I left the window open but I couldn’t find it in the morning.
I don’t know what all these means or what exactly they are trying to tell me.
As I am going through a difficult time right now, I believe they have come to show me the way.

I saw a dragonfly get taken down mid flight by another dragonfly… and then the bigger, more vibrant dragonfly rupped open and ate the insides of the smaller one. It seems so significant but i cant figure it out
I’ve very recently separated from my husband and I’ve seen dragonflies just about everyday since he left,(6 weeks) today I went outside (husband was with me) I seen one laying outside the door. He thought it was dead, I seen a little twig in between its wings so I moved it and he flew off. I went to work about a week ago and there was one in my work area sitting above my favorite resident. (Work at a retirement home). Dragonflies have been worth my family many years and protected us, bringing us together. I am completely lost on what this means, they are everywhere around me and before this started happening I maybe seen one every couple months.
